- The following are the eligibility requirements for this scholarship:

- Be a non-Canadian citizen and non-permanent resident holding a valid study permit.
- Be enrolled full-time in a postgraduate taught program for the entire duration of their studies.
- Not be eligible for tuition fee exemption under any other program or policy. This includes students from France and French-speaking Belgium.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the English language.

- Undergraduate StudentsUniversité de Montréal offers undergraduate scholarships based on academic merit. The scholarship amount is determined by your academic record and divided into three levels:
- Level A: $11,998 per year or $5,999 per semester or $399 per credit
- Level B: $5,718 per year or $2,859 per semester or $190.60 per credit
- Level C: $2,000 per year or $1,000 per semester or $66.67 per credit
These scholarship amounts are applied directly to the annual tuition fee of $23,662.
Master’s Students
International master’s students at Université de Montréal are eligible for a partial tuition waiver. The scholarship covers:
- $9,420 per year or $3,140 per semester
This amount is deducted from the annual tuition fee of $27,300.
PhD Students
International PhD students at Université de Montréal receive a full tuition waiver. This means you will pay the same tuition as domestic students:
- $19,339 per year or $6,546 per semester
This exemption applies to the annual tuition fee of $24,300 for the entire duration of your PhD program.
