The Chevening Scholarship 2026-2027 offers international students a fully funded opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at a UK university. Backed by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations, Chevening is designed to nurture global leaders and influencers by providing academic, professional, and cultural growth. Approximately 1,500 scholarships are awarded worldwide each year.

To apply for a Chevening Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Qualification: A completed undergraduate degree that meets the entry requirements for a UK master’s program (typically equivalent to a UK upper second-class 2:1 honours degree).
- Minimum of two years (about 2,800 hours) of professional work experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Apply to three eligible UK university courses and hold an unconditional offer from at least one by July.
- Must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country and return to your home country for at least two years after completing your studies.
- Applicants cannot hold British or dual citizenship (with some exceptions), hold refugee status outside Chevening-eligible countries, or have studied in the UK previously on a UK government-funded scholarship. Close relatives or employees of certain UK government bodies or partner organizations may face additional restrictions.
