- Eligibility:
- To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be either domestic or international students.
- Be enrolled in or commencing a full-time HDR program (part-time enrollment may be approved in special circumstances).
- Have an outstanding academic record and demonstrate strong research potential.
- Not have previously:
- Completed an HDR course at the same level.
- Received an Australian Government or University scholarship for an HDR course at the same level.

Recipients of the RTP Scholarship will enjoy:
- Annual Stipend: AUD $41,753 per annum (2025 rate), indexed annually.
- Relocation Allowance: Up to $1,485 for travel to Sydney at the start of the program, plus an additional $1,485 for return travel after successful completion.
- Thesis Allowance:
- Up to $420 for master’s students.
- Up to $840 for doctoral candidates.
- Paid Leave:
- Up to 20 working days of recreation leave and 10 working days of sick leave annually.
- Extended paid sick and parental leave provisions.
