It provides full-time and part-time study options across eleven faculties, one art academy, and four departments. Additionally, they teach several programs in English, German, Hungarian, and Italian. However, the majority of programs are taught in Croatian.

J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek

The University of Osijek, also known as the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, is one of Croatia’s oldest and biggest universities. The university has 12 faculties across engineering, science, social science, humanities, medicine, biotechnology, and an academy. 

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology (FERIT) is particularly well-known among international students.

University of Zadar

The University of Zadar has been around for a long time and is one of the top universities in Croatia for international students. It started as a university in the Republic of Venice in the early 1300s. It’s now one of Croatia’s newest institutions, having been re-established as an internationally recognized university in 2002. 

This Croatian school has 25 academic departments and collaborates with institutions worldwide, including South America and the United States. Furthermore, there are four research universities, a language center, and a gymnastics and sports facility on campus.
