Scholarship - Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarships 2024 for ADC’s and Developing Countries

The Austrian Development Cooperation offers scholarships yearly to students from developing countries who wish to study in Austria. This assistance covers tuition and living costs. 

There are two categories of scholarships available from the Austrian Development Cooperation, namely scholarships for ADC’s priority countries and scholarships for other developing countries.

  • University; Austrian Universities 
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Applicants must speak English.
    • GCE-A Levels or equivalent, which enables enrollment at a university.
    • Applicants must not be more than 35 years old.
    • At least one year of experience in the hotel or tourism industry.
  • Value; 

The benefits a recipient gets depend on whether they are under ADC’s priority countries or other countries. For ADC’s priority companies, recipients get:

    • Tuition fee
    • Accommodation
    • Flight tickets (from home country to Salzburg and back)
    • Health insurance
    • Food from Monday – Sunday
    • Excursions (except field trip to ITB Berlin)
    • Pocket money – €205  per month.
  • While recipients from other developing countries get:
    • Tuition fee
    • Health insurance
    • Food from Monday – Friday
    • Excursions (except ITB Berlin)
    • Pocket money- €205 per month
  • Application Deadline; March 31st, 2024.
