Program - Flinders University RTP Scholarship Australia 2024

The Flinders University RTP Scholarship is the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (International) offered at Flinders University. It’s a fully-funded scholarship program for international students pursuing a Research Doctorate (PhD) or Research Master’s degree in Australia.

 

It is awarded to candidates who demonstrate outstanding aptitude for independent research. This scholarship is based on academic merit, academic research training and research indicators, and performance.

  • Eligibility:
  • The following are the eligibility requirements for this scholarship:
    • Not a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or a permanent resident of Australia
    • Intend to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in Australia for the first time, in the year for which the award is to be offered.
    • Have a four-year bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
    • Meet the English language proficiency requirements
    • Be admitted to a research degree program at Flinders University
  • Selection Criteria:
    • The Scholarships Committee will select awardees based on their academic standing and potential for future research.
    • The applications will be ranked in accordance with the University’s Guidelines for Ranking Postgraduate Research Scholarship Applications.
    • The institution will give preference to students who are seeking a higher degree through research for the first time.

  • Worldwide health insurance.
  • Allowance of up to $1,485 to assist with relocation expenses and airfare (after arriving at Flinders).
  • A living allowance of $33,990 (as of 2024) is provided.
